"There by the Grace of God" is a single released by Manic Street Preachers on 14 October 2002. It was a one-off release to coincide with the release of the greatest hits album Forever Delayed. The CDs included "Automatik Teknicolor", "It's All Gone", "Unstoppable Salvation", "Happy Ending" and a ''There By The Grace Of God'' video. The DVD included "There By The Grace Of God" video, ''There By The Grace Of God" (Saint Etienne mix) and a "There By The Grace Of God" (Starecase mix). The single reached number six in the UK charts.[1] The song is noted for the line "And all the drugs in the world can't save us from ourselves". This is an almost word-for-word quote from Marilyn Manson's song Coma White, which features the line "And all the drugs in this world can't save her from herself". Manson was previously referred to in the song "The Convalescent" from 2001's Know Your Enemy, with the line "Brian Warner has a tasty little ass". http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/There_by...
